Every week, I post my episodes on the “Not the Bee” website. It’s at notthebee.com and is a sister site to The Babylon Bee satire site. Last week, a person I respect, Glenna, had an insight about how we probably “should” agree, but the political left probably wouldn’t. So, I thought I would take a stab at trying to look at these 10 ideas from a leftist perspective. I think you’ll find it an interesting listen this week!

Look How Far We’ve Come!
Over the last 10 months or so, a lot of things have changed since President Trump took office.
In this week’s podcast, I examine the progress he’s made in contrast to the “Ten Things We Can Agree on For America” series I did a couple of years back.
Why Do People Complain?
The new ramp in Columbus, the new Cracker Barrel logo…whatever it is, people love to complain. Here’s how I think you can complain effectively.
When Did You Learn to Fear?
I think we don’t have to learn to fear, but we learn who and what to fear all the time. Is is a conspiracy or just the way we are because of the fall of Adam and Eve?
Our scripture reference is Isaiah 8:12, “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ concerning all this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”
Ten Values
These are the Ten Values We Can Agree On For America that I have had on the Quiz the Diz podcast since December. Let me know your thoughts!
- We are a sovereign nation
- We are a nation of laws, not men
- Our rights are protected by, but not granted by the government
- Citizens are the supreme inhabitants of this nation
- Our government should operate within its means
- All people are created equal
- The Constitution of the United States is to be followed by and protected by our elected officials
- All government workers serve the people
- Wealth belongs to those who generate it
- We are a constitutional representative republic

Whose Values do We Value?
Selfishness can often masquerade as care for others. With the end of the “10 Values We Can Agree on For America”, I talk about root causes of today’s societal breakdown and bring a few ideas on how to deal with it.
We Can’t Save “Our Democracy”
Why? Because we don’t have one and were never meant to. The tenth of the “Ten Values We Can Agree on For America” is “We are a Constituional Representative Republic”
Who Does Wealth Belong To?
First, an admission that I came to the conclusion that the title of the current series should be “Ten Values We Can Agree On For America”. I had been saying “things” instead of “values” and I think Values is much more descriptive.
So, who does wealth belong to? My proposal is that it belongs to those who generate it. Whether it’s a five-figure income or a million-dollar inheritance, I think that it’s not up to the government to divide that money equally.
Let me know what you think.

Bureaucrats are going to Bureaucrat…
Customer service is not a strong suit for our Government Employees. Who do they serve…or what. That’s the topic on this week’s Quiz the Diz Podcast
Who Needs a Constitution? We do!!!
This may be the most surprising thing about our current government in the US: it seems that the Constitution is only followed when convenient or expedient. Our Constitution and why we need it this week on Quiz the Diz Podcast. Part of the “The Things We Can Agree On for America”
